In this talk, I will discuss our recent developments in the search for low-mass dark matter that interacts with electrons. I will focus on the use of skipper-CCDs as dark matter detectors and share the recent results obtained with this technology by the SENSEI and DAMIC collaborations. Additionally, I will outline our plans for the deployment of larger detectors utilizing skipper-CCDs, as well as other very low-noise semiconductor detectors. Finally, I will explore how these sensors can have a significant impact beyond the field of dark matter research. |
