"Chirality meets Quantum"

Chirality is a ubiquitous concept in science, from nuclear physics to biology.
This talk will delve into the fascinating interplay between chirality and quantum physics, unveiling a number of novel phenomena. In particular, we will discuss a new kind of non-dissipative transport (the ``chiral magnetic effect”), response of plasmas to chirality imbalance (“chiral magnetic instability”), and a new effect arising for confined chiral quarks (“baryon-number - flavor separation”). Throughout the talk, the implications on ongoing and future experiments at RHIC, JLab, LHC and EIC, and on condensed matter experiments and astrophysical observations will be emphasized.
